2 days to 2 weeks, available in person or virtually
Dr. Rubin’s intensives focus on children or adults with Neurodevelopmental Disorders like Autism, ADHD, OCD, Sensory Processing difficulties, PANDAS, Lyme Disease and Tic Disorders/Tourette’s. He also sees children with deletion or duplication syndromes like Williams, Angelman’s, and Prader-Willi.
Intensives provide a unique look at your (or your child’s) brain, nerve system, spine and overall health. Dr. Rubin and his team of interns will take an in-depth health history then examine the brain, spine and nerve system in great detail, including checking spinal health, posture, balance, Interactive Metronome, sensory evaluations of the visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular and proprioceptive systems, & functional neurological examinations including the Vagus nerve. You can expect this first visit to take approximately 60-90 minutes. The intensive fee will be paid in full at the first visit. This fee covers the entire intensive program. Call or email us for pricing.
On your second visit, Dr. Rubin will review the findings from the new patient exam. At that time, he will discuss recommendations for your care and present you with a care plan. Then you or your child will receive their first adjustment and recommended exercises and dietary changes that should be followed closely for the length of the intensive program. We will proceed by setting up subsequent appointments based on your intensive care plan, with the final visit being a reevaluation and adjustment. Recommendations will be sent to you by 2 business days post reevaluation, including functional neurological exercises, follow-up suggestions, and referral back to your home chiropractor or help in finding a chiropractor in your area.
Dr. Rubin has had intensives from Georgia, North and South Carolina, North Dakota and Puerto Rico, to name a few. He can also use Zoom or Doxy.me to perform virtual consultations. We are excited to work with you. Click below to learn more.
